The Role:
At WHIP, we are revolutionizing how outdoor enthusiasts track, plan, and share their adventures. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mobile Developer to help us build and optimize our high-performance mobile applications. You will play a key role in developing new features, improving app stability, and ensuring a seamless experience for our growing community of users.
What You Will Do:
Design and build advanced applications for the iOS and/or Android platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Backend, Product) to define and ship new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Troubleshoot and fix bugs to optimize application performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Who We Are Looking For:
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in mobile application development.
Core Skills (Must-Have): You must have strong proficiency in at least one of the following languages/frameworks:
Flutter (Dart)
Swift (iOS)
Kotlin or Android Native
Objective-C
Architecture: Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle and general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
Mindset: A proactive problem solver who takes ownership of their code.
Bonus Points (Nice to Have):
Experience working with hybrid frameworks such as Capacitor or Cordova is considered a major plus.
Experience with map-based SDKs (Mapbox, Google Maps) or geolocation services.
A personal passion for outdoor sports (cycling, motorcycling, hiking, etc.).
