The inaugural GFNY NYC race was held in 2011 and since then, GFNY has expanded to global series of over 30 events. Today, GFNY is the largest global cycling marathon brand, offering events, cycling apparel, casual apparel, gear, sunglasses and coffee to passionate cyclists around the world. GFNY NYC serves as the GFNY World Championship and every May, cyclists descend onto New York City and the starting line on the world’s busiest bridge, George Washington Bridge, which is fully closed to cars for GFNY. The race features the most international peloton in the world with riders from almost 100 nations coming together from all corners of the world to challenge themselves against the clock and fellow riders over the iconic route. GFNY World Championship has become a mecca for road cyclists from around the world. GFNY is a race and personal challenge. Every rider gets chip timed from start to finish regardless if they compete for the win, to set a personal best or just to complete the event.

Live Tracking Events
Through the smartphone of each participant and staff member, the organization can monitor the rides, the track covered, the riding times and the speed along the route. To ensure an all-rounded safety, there's a live status update for every single participant and a global overview. Under request we also provide public Live Tracking overviews for the event to be followed live from a remote audience.
The battery consumption when the Live Tracking is in use is very limited and the impact on battery consumption is about 5-8% more than the normal phone consumption without Live Tracking enabled. When combining it with Navigation or manual Tracking mode the consumption is obviously higher and so we suggest using a power bank for this.

Register or login if you already have an account.
Click on the "Profile" tab at the bottom and select "settings" at the top right.
